You probably already know this, but you can help to eliminate candida by a special diet for a while. No sugar, low carb, no yeast etc etc. It's all there on the Internet.

I've finally kicked my thrush into touch. After the first round of treatment I noticed bad symptoms with die off too. All is well now. I hope you have similar success.

Thank you for coming by and leaving a comment. I went over to your blog and will have to spend some time there seeing what a fellow Lymie is doing to fight this nasty disease. I did look at the Buhner protocol some too. My LLMD mentioned Cowden...we will see what the two of us decide. I know it will need to be slow and steady....baby steps in what I can manage.

I'm new at treating yeast, and I went a little hard core the first couple of days. I ended up with severe stomach cramps, which I finally figured out was a severe die off reaction (I think!). Worth it, though, if I can get rid of it!

I strongly believe in being proactive when it comes to your health and treatment. I'm always researching and learning and trying new things to help move me towards recovery. Good for you, taking matters into your own hands!

Having suffered through both yeast die off and Lyme die off I would have to say they are about the same.

I agree with the more natural methods of treatment, especially since I have had allergic reactions to most antibiotics

Have you also looked into Buhner Protocol, my LLMD uses that with some minor modifications.

It sounds like you are making a more gentle choice for your body with herbs. You have been through so much.
